Labor costs (may not be accurate)

        PC32 : $750
        PC44 : $750
        25-bit DAC : $1500
                             -----
                             $3000

         TOTAL $16,800

Some comments:

(1) One could save a bit on the cost by getting less than the 2 MW static RAM for the PC44 board. This memory is used both for A/D sampling and for playback of general waveforms. The absolute minimum recommended memory size would be 128 KWords.

(2) Savings could also be realized by not using the 25-bit DACs, and making do with the on-board 16-bit DACs.
