Comment 4/22/97 (RK) : There should be 4 (or 8) BNC inputs on the front panel for external start of the A/D converters. There also needs to be external start capability for the DSS (i.e. for the timers that gate the DSS), but this probably belongs on the rear panel.
Comment 5/2/97 (RK) : The number of Digital I/O lines should be greater than 16 on the front panel. Some expts. already seem to need 16 or more. A good number might be 20 (or 24 ?).
