The HP Travan TR-5 tape drive is attached to node PCAZ (the Win/NT system in Room 87). The tapes are sitting just below the tape drive, and they are numbered T001, T002 ...etc.
In case there is data loss on one of the PC's (PCAA, Bernice, PCA, PCAX, PHY-OFF, etc.) you can potentially recover the lost files(s) from backup tape as follows:
(1) Locate the appropriate tape. Read the labels within each tape cover to identify tape contents and date of last backup.
(2) Log-in as Administrator on PCAZ (room 87).
(3) Insert the tape into the HP drive, and push it in until it seats firmly.
(4) Launch the NT backup program by double-clicking on the NTbackup icon on the desktop.
(5) Click on "Recover" and follow the instructions.
