STATPK is a general purpose data analysis and plotting program. It has an associated file structure that allows data to be stored, manipulated and plotted in a number of different ways for use in scientific applications. A scripting language allows creation of command macros that automate repetitive tasks.
STATPK was developed at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, with support from the National Institutes of Health. It is available for use free of charge for any legitimate purpose. It is not guaranteed to be bug free, though we will make a reasonable effort to fix bugs if you report them to the address below. There is no warranty of any sort.
STATPK was first created in 1976 to run on a Datacraft 6024/5 computer (with 32 kWords of memory). It was converted in 1985 to work on VAX/VMS computers, and is still available for OpenVMS (both VAX and AXP). Currently (2001) a beta version for Microsoft Windows 9x/ME/NT/2000 is available.
